Fort Greene's 32-Story BAM South Tower Nears Completion

Although folks will be moving into the tower in no time, pricing and unit mix has yet to be announced for the development. The building will have 379 apartments in all, 76 of which will be affordable. The building sits on a triangular piece of land bordered by Ashland Place, Lafayette Avenue, and Flatbush Avenue and will be surrounded by a 10,000-square-foot public plazas designed by Grain Collective.
The building's base will give way to 50,000 square feet of cultural space that will include four screens for BAM Cinemas, a dance studio for 651 Arts, and a new branch of the Brooklyn Public Library. It will also include 43,000 square feet of retail space, per YIMBY.
